A natural Reservation is any area of land or water characterized by valuable animals, plants, fish or natural phenomena. Its value is cultural. Scientific or touristic.

This applies to the "Kobbet el Hassana "reservation.

"Kobbet el Hassana" Reservation:

It is in the Giza Governorate about 8 K.m. from the Pyramids. The French engineer "Le Vivre Ann" was the first to discover some geological structures in a shape of a dome rich with prehistoric organic remains near the Pyramid area in 1839.

"Kobbet el Hassana" with its topographic phenomena and geological structure reflects a special historic era. This area is an open museum for geologists and researchers because of its rare geological value.
